The Benefits of Meditation

 

The benefits of practicing meditation regularly are immense. Anyone can learn how to meditate, it can be learned at almost any age and can be practiced anywhere at any time. Meditation offers a drug-free and natural way to greatly improve and maintain mental, physical and emotional health. It improves function of the immune system and can help return the entire body to its perfect natural balance. 

Group Meditation Course 

 

This meditation course is divided into six, 1 hour lessons, suitable for small class sizes of approximately 12 students. Classes are onsite in your office / community centre / school / aged care facility / tertiary education centre or healthcare facility. During the course, students learn about the cause and effect of stress, basic breathing techniques, muscle relaxation, guided visualisation and manifestation. This class is suitable for beginners, intermediate levels and people wanting to return to meditation. Our meditation styles are non-religious and suitable for people from all cultural backgrounds.


At the end of this course, students should feel comfortable and confident about practicing meditation. They should have a good understanding of the fight or flight reaction, understand their own stress responses and, with practice and consistency, be able to disengage from a stress response. They should be able to report a noticeable improvement in their daily lives through the regular practice of meditation.

Your teacher Deb holds a Certificate in Meditation Teaching and Holistic Human Development and is looking forward to sharing the gift of meditation with others so that they can find peace, calm, happiness and healing from within themselves and in turn, cause a positive ripple effect of positive energy and love throughout the whole world.
